The Vernon Chorale (VC) would be delighted to have your sponsorship and deeply grateful for your contribution to support our 2024-2025 concert season! VC is a 501(c)(3) community chorale that presents high-quality choral concerts serving hundreds of residents in Hartford and Tolland counties. Drawing its volunteer members from all walks of life, VC provides a platform to learn and refine choral singing skills while educating audiences through the presentation of the world’s expansive collection of choral music. As well as a commitment to provide diverse performances that challenge performers and inspire audiences, VC also provides mentorship, fellowship, and performance opportunities to young local musicians; ensuring that the next generation can pursue their passion and contribute to the cultural experience of our community.
To accomplish our goals, The Vernon Chorale fairly compensates our Artistic Director and professional Collaborative Pianist as well as provides modest stipends to the exceptional young musicians accepted into our Conducting Fellowship and Choral Fellowship programs. Other expenses include rehearsal space, performance venues, programs and posters, music, performance rights, and insurance. Part of these costs are covered by membership dues and ticket sales, but for a significant portion, we depend upon the generosity of our private donors and business sponsors like you.
